Who we are
Aknostic is a platform engineering consultancy based in Utrecht, Netherlands. This privacy policy applies to the website aknostic.com.
Website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible is self-hosted on our own infrastructure in Europe.
Plausible does not:
- ✗Use cookies or generate persistent identifiers
- ✗Collect personal data or personally identifiable information
- ✗Track you across websites or devices
- ✗Build user profiles
- ✗Share data with third parties
Plausible collects only aggregate, anonymous data: page views, referral source, browser, operating system, and country. No individual visitor can be identified. Because Plausible does not use cookies or collect personal data, no cookie consent banner is required under GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.
Contact via email
When you contact us via email, we process your email address and the content of your message to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to inquiries you initiate.
We do not add your email to any mailing list or share it with third parties. Your email correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry.
Hosting
This website is a static site. It does not have a server-side application, database, or user accounts. Standard web server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) may be temporarily stored by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for analytics and are automatically purged.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
